Josh Pyorre is a Security Research Engineering Technical Leader with Cisco Talos. He has been involved in security since 2000, working as a researcher, analyst, and threat hunter at organizations such as Cisco, NASA, and Mandiant, and as a principal product manager for advanced threat protection at Zscaler.

His interests involve network and computer security. He seeks to improve the security of products, organizations, and people while working to increase knowledge and skills to continuously provide high-quality expertise and solutions. Josh likes to work on interesting problems both inside and outside the scope of his current role, often presenting findings at conferences, speaking in interviews, and applying solutions in creative ways.

He has presented at conferences and locations around the world, including DEFCON, RSA, B-Sides, Source, Derbycon, InfoSecurity, DeepSec, Qubit, and at various companies and government organizations. He was also the host and producer of the security podcast, ‘Root Access’.
